Helmets for Heroes unites all 32 NFL quarterbacks for one cause – pediatric cancer treatments and research. 

Bart wrote annual “kick off notes” to all starting quarterbacks at the beginning of each season when he retired. Since his passing in 2019, Cherry is carrying on Bart’s tradition to honor his legacy. In her letter, Cherry asks each quarterback to sign a team helmet for the Helmets for Heroes auction during one week of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month each September.
